Our primitive creek-side campsites provide a private setting to rest, relax and recharge after traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway or enjoying a ride through the country roads of Southwest Virginia.
For groups or those camping on a budget, pitch a tent in our open field site, featuring a large community fire pit and plenty of room to spread out. Our open field camping is the best place for stargazing away from city lights.
We are primarily a campground that caters to tent camping and are motorcycle friendly; however, we can often accommodate car campers, vans, truck campers and small teardrop trailers at most sites. We cannot accommodate RVs or travel trailers. Have questions? Contact us

More about the Camp Sites
Crooked Mountain has six individual creek-side sites available, each with their own fire ring and picnic table. All creek sites can accommodate a party of 4. A large open field site with a community fire pit and seating is available for larger groups or those who want to hang out with other outdoor enthusiasts. Check our HIPCAMP site for more information.
Check in for campsites is 3 p.m. and check out is 12pm the following day. Pets are always welcome but should be leashed when exploring away from your campsite. No pets inside the flower fields, please. Port-o-johns are centrally located with a private changing area and hand washing station.
We do not offer long-term sites. Reservation maximum is 10 consecutive days.
